The 11th Changchun Film Festival in Jilin Province closed its curtains on Friday with a grand awards ceremony. Ning Hao's film "Guns N' Roses" became the biggest winner of the night, Mtime.com reports.
Casts and crews of the movies "China 1911," "Flying with You," "Sha Jie," "White Deer Plain," "The Assassins" and Guan Hu's latest movie "The Chef•The Actor•The Scoundrel" attended the event.
"Guns N' Roses" captured three awards for the night including Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor and Best Screenplay. Former renowned TV hostess Ni Ping won the Best Actress Award for her role in the drama "The Sun," which was based on the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake.
Thirty two Chinese movies were nominated by the judging panel. Among them, "China 1911" was credited as the Best Chinese Feature film.
Director Johnny To won the Best Director Award for his crime movie "Life without Principle."
